Yacht Administration & Operations Services

You became a captain to work at sea, not at a desk.

I take the admin off your desk, so you can get back to running the yacht. You’re in command. I take responsibility for the agreed work, keep you informed and follow it through.

For captains

Death by a thousand paper cuts.

Captaining a superyacht is demanding enough. Late nights at the desk, the worry of what might slip, and paperwork that never stops growing. You don’t have to carry it alone.

01

Hiring crew?

CVs vetted, pre-interviews held, certificates and references checked, so you only meet your shortlist. Then flights, visas and professional onboarding. You hire with confidence, and the stress stays off your shoulders.

02

Owner trip or charter coming up?

Itinerary, berths and bookings, planned and confirmed. Time back in your busiest weeks, and a trip that makes you look good.

03

Receipts piling up?

Expenses reconciled and month-end done in your system, whether that’s Excel or yacht software. Month-end stops hanging over you, and your evenings are yours again.

04

Yard period ahead?

Planned and booked before it starts: quotes gathered and vetted, the project planned and forecast, parts sourced. Then support while you’re juggling contractors, with issues spotted early, so you stay in control and focused on leaving the yard on time.

05

Survey due?

Certificates and dates checked, annuals and servicing booked, contractors organised, and support preparing for the survey. You walk into survey day calm and prepared.

06

A season to plan?

Owner trips, charters, yard periods and surveys mapped out in one calendar. Planning support when the pressure’s on, so you head into the busiest weeks organised and one step ahead.

07

Going on leave?

Your vessel and crew supported while you're away. You switch off on leave, knowing the admin is in hand.

How it works

01

Tell me what’s on your desk

A short call. We agree what I take on, and I send you a clear proposal.

02

I work in the background

On Australian time, keeping you updated. You approve every decision and every spend.

03

Calm and in control

Less stress, everything organised, and you confidently run a professional program.

New owners & captains

New to a yacht, or taking command?

Everything is new at once: the crew, the accounts, the surveys, the first season. I support you and your captain through the handover, with crew hired where needed, accounts running in your system, surveys on the calendar and the first season planned. You start the season organised and confident, not finding your feet.

Contracts, flag and insurance stay with your lawyer, agent and insurer.

For brokers

Keep your client happy long after the sale.

A rough first season can sour a great sale. Introduce me, and your buyer and their captain have experienced admin support from day one: crew, accounts, surveys and season planning. Your client has a great first season, and remembers who made it happen.

  • I never sell or charter yachts.

About

Cade Pia

17 years at sea, 12 of them as a superyacht First Officer. More than 40 crew hired, 15+ annual and special flag and class surveys, and several major refits.

My captains knew me for two things: I had their back, and nothing slipped through.

You’ll deal directly with me. No account manager, no hand-off to someone who has never worked onboard. I know that desk because it used to be mine.

Let’s talk

Keep the helm.
Hand over the paperwork.

No need for a polished brief. A few lines is enough to start.
